Today there are many worthwhile Buddhist educational resources available on the web in both written and audio formats. We have listed several below.

For Buddhist information and education please click on BuddhaNet This is one the of the best sources on the web for Buddhist doctrine, meditation and practice information. Also has a world wide directory of Buddhist centers and downloadable Dharma Talks in mp3 format.

Another very useful educational site is Ashoka http://www.ashokaedu.net/. Here you will find on-line courses on various aspects of Buddhism. Most of these courses are available at no charge.

To view the Buddhist sutras and commentaries click on Access to Insight This site puts much of the Pali Cannon at your fingertips. Access to Insight is dedicated to providing accurate, reliable, and useful information concerning the practice and study of Buddhism, as it has been handed down to us through both the written word of the Pali canon and the living example of the Sangha.

For audio formats please click on Sutra Readings where the Theravada Suttas are read by senior Dharma teachers. These readings may be downloaded to your iPod or other MP3 players or simply played on your desktop computer. Also a variety of very good talks are available on Zencast
